From I-75 North. Sarasota (1 hour)
Venice, Port Charlotte (30 minutes),
and Punta Gorda (10 minutes):

Take I-75 South to Exit 164.

Drive North on US-17 next 4 miles.

Turn right on Washington Loop Road
(there is a big yellow sign with Shell Creek Park written on it and also Royal Thai Restaurant at the intersection)

Drive exactly 3 miles, and make a right turn on the dirt road.

Follow the dirt road for about 300 yards and the entrance will be on your right.
