Get your USPA A-License After your AFI or AFF levels, you are considered as a novice jumper until you have a total of 25 skydives and your A-License, part of the new USPA Integrated Student program (ISP). You must also pass the oral test for the USPA A-License. You may not be able to skydive at other parachutes centers until you have your A-License. From Level 9 to 24 you'll be required to complete the A-License proficiency card, which includes a minimum of 4 coach jumps , and the rest will be supervised jumps . The sign off jump for your A-License including the oral test is mandatory.
USPA membership. A USPA membership is required before AFI/AFF Level 4. the cost is $51.00 per year. As a member you'll receive the monthly skydiving magazine PARACHUTIST and you'll also be covered under their liability insurance plan should you damage someone's property or hurt a none jumper upon landing!
