AFF program (Accelerated Free-Fall)
Skydive Southwest Florida offers also Accelerated Free-Fall program. Cost: All jumps are priced at a per jump cost. Package pricing available. Call for details.
Ground School $75.00 4 to 6 hours of ground training, receiving instruction for solo free-fall, solo canopy flight, emergency procedures and ending with a written test. This training ensures a safe introduction into solo free-fall. This will allow you to proceed to AFF level 1.
AFF Level 1 $200.00 For this level, you will need about 45 to 60 minutes of ground training. You will jump with two USPA certified jumpmasters. The objectives are: altitude awareness, hover control and pull at the right altitude, as well as good canopy control. The jumpmasters will not fully release you during this dive. You will accompanied until you have safely deployed your parachute.
AFF Level 2 $165.00 Two jumpmasters are required for this level. You will be required to complete certain objectives before proceeding to level 3. You will learn to control your body in free-fall as well as team turns. The jumpmasters will not fully release you during this dive. You will accompanied until you have safely deployed your parachute.
AFF Level 3 $165.00 You will be fully released by the jumpmasters to allow you to feel the free-fall environment without the stability given by your two jumpmasters. The jumpmasters never leave your side and will only assist you if needed. You will deploy your own parachute at the pre-deignated altitude.
AFF Level 4 $150.00 During the free-fall, you are required to complete two 360 degree turns, forward motion towards jumpmaster, and deploy your own parachute while your jumpmaster supervises and gives any necessary signals to you. Only one jumpmaster required.
AFF Level 5 $150.00 You will exit unassisted, and your first forward track (fast forward motion). The purpose of this level is to require the student to perform maneuvers which create unstable flight. You must demonstrate the ability to regain and maintain stability before proceeding to level 6.
AFF Level 6 $150.00 You will perform a diving exit, back-loop and forward track. Again the purpose of this level is to ensure the ability to regain stability and also excellent canopy control is required before proceeding to the next level.
AFF Level 7 $150.00 This level is to review the maneuvers and objectives learned in the previous levels, and also fine tune any needed areas before you're signed off for your low solo jump.
AFF Level 8 Low Solo $50.00 Jump altitude 3,500 feet. Also called "Hop and Pop". you must demonstrate to your on-board jumpmaster that you can exit on your own at a lower altitude, get stable and deploy your parachute safely.
